PCIT is a short-term behavior management program lasting 14-18 weeks designed for children ages 2-6 experiencing behavioral and emotional difficulties.

  • PCIT works with the child and caregiver together to improve behavior and reduce parenting stress. 

  • PCIT is an effective treatment backed by more than 30 years of research.

  • Live coaching is a hallmark of PCIT. The therapist observes the caregiver and child together through a two-way mirror, then provides coaching on the PCIT skills.

Dr. Allison Brazendale, Psy.D.
Director of Clinical Psychology

Dr. Allison Brazendale is a specialist in gifted, ADHD, learning disability, and autism assessment and treatment. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University and completed her postdoctoral work at the University of South Carolina. Allison is a licensed psychologist who is also research reliable in the ADOS-2. She was previously the Director of Psychology Services for the Unumb Center for Neurodevelopment.
